Bit Cloud |
Bit Cloud was once a junk dealer
by trade; working the battlefields and stealing parts from broken-down Zoids. His
risky ways eventually caught up with him, though. While collecting parts from
Leena's Dibison during a battle which the Blitz and Tiger's Teams were
fighting, Leon tripped over Bit's Stealth Truck in his Shield Liger. This
ended up disrupting the battle, and postponing it to the next day. Feeling
bad, Bit helped Leon out of his totaled Liger. Later that night, he was captured after he was found snooping
around their base. It was then that he met his Zoid. Liger Zero. Leena
told him while he was tied up that Liger Zero had been bought by her dad, who
was conned into it, because white Ligers are rare, but the Zoid goes berserk
whenever someone tries to pilot it. After Leena left him (with his arms tied),
Bit admired the Liger zero, saying he'd be an amazing Zoid if he had the right
pilot. No sooner had he said this, the Liger came to life, and while opening
the cockpit hatch, cut the ropes that held bit captive. Liger Zero let bit in,
then when all seemed well, he charged through the base and busted out of the
wall and ran off-with Bit inside. Bit eventually gained control, and the two
came to rescue the Blitz Team from certain defeat, as return for the meal.
Because Liger Zero was already registered as a Zoid of the Blitz Team, Bit was
able to register in mid-battle. Bit was able to identify and spot the hidden
Saber Tiger (later renamed Zaber Fang), and discover the Liger Zero's
signature move: the Strike Laser Claw, and unleashed it on the other Zaber
Tiger, slicing it's leg right off. Brad got the last one, and the Blitz Team
won the battle! He is
now Leader of the team, and the permanent pilot and is the only one who can pilot the Ultimate X
Liger Zero.
Bit possesses a combination of skill and sheer luck. He has
the ability to make decisions on the battlefield, and his hunches are
usually right. He has a bright personality, but is sometimes slow to learn
from his mistakes. In the beginning, he was also slow to take the advise of others and not
very willing to be helped. He gets better though, which helps him to
become one of the best Zoid pilots to ever live. In addition to
being Liger Zero's only pilot, Bit is able to communicate with Liger Zero
(although this is just passed by in the US dubbed version). Has a knack
for getting into trouble with Leena, particularly by sneaking some of her
snacks. He still collects parts as a side job, like a hobby. There's definitely
some resemblances between Bit and Van, which leads you to wonder if he may be
a descendant of Van...

Leena Toros |
"Shoot first, ask questions
later" Leena's motto without a doubt. Leena is Dr. Toros' daughter
Leena's a fairly skilled warrior, with a thing for lots of ammo. While
Leena isn't the best pilot in the world, she does have her moments where
she's saved the day. She seems to have a split personality: Her normal
personality, and a trigger-happy psychotic (and VERY angry) personality.
She is hot-headed, but is by no means dumb. Harry is in love with her and
she uses that to often manipulated Harry to get back at Bit or to get
something she wants. By the end of the series she seems to have cooled
down somewhat and may have a thing for Harry-or perhaps even Bit. She originally
piloted a Dibison, but after it was seriously damaged, she decided to
upgrade to a heavily modified Gun Sniper. Interestingly enough,
Leena's Japanese name is Rinon (but Leena sounds better don't you think?)

 |
Brad Hunter
|
Brad was originally a mercenary hired for
the Blitz Team, but I guess he's decided to stick
with them (so long as he
gets paid). He is a very skilled warrior and can often pull through to
help the team win. A bit smug, but not overconfident, he's one of the best
Zoid pilots around.t
warriors next to Bit and Vega. Piloted a Command Wolf through most of the
series but later gets the Shadowfox it destroyed his Command Wolf.
Won't admit it but he has a thing for Naomi.
Kinda reminds you of Irvine

 |
Jamie Hemeros
Wild Eagle
|
Jamie is the Blitz Team's tactics
officer and strategist. He usually prefers
the being the strategist to piloting a Zoid. He's a bit inexperienced as a
Zoid, but he is getting better. His personality is quiet, and has low
confidence in himself, but is encouraged by his friends. Originally
piloted a Pteras, but then switched to a Raynos (thanks to Dr, Toros).
Under extreme circumstances Jamie will go into an alter ego mode called
the Wild Eagle. This subconscious state is very skilled and fearless but a
little too cocky, which sometimes ends up being his downfall. Jamie
is the second generation Wild Eagle, the first being his dad, Oscar.
Originally piloted a Pteras equipped with Bomber Units, but Dr. Toros
trades it in for a Raynos, which leads to Jamie tapping into his Wild
Eagle form.

 |
Doctor Steve Toros
|
Manager of the Blitz Team. On the outside Dr.
Toros is a happy-go-lucky guy, perhaps even a bit absent minded, who often
blows the money the warriors make on impressive looking weapons or models.
However he's actually really smart and can come up with some amazing
strategies and ideas (like making Leena's ammo faster, Liger Zero's armors
and the CAS, and mounting the buster cannon on the Shadowfox to name a
few.) He is the father of Leena and Leon Toros. Love his models--perhaps a
bit too much.
There's subtle ties to Chaotic
Century in the series, such as how some of the characters resemble ones
from CC (i.e. Bit - Van), and mentions of the Death Saurer once or twice,
and how some of the models Dr. Toros has are from CC, such as The Geno
Breaker seen in the picture to the left.
|
 |
Leon Toros
|
Leon Toros is Dr. Toros' son. Originally the
lead pilot of the Blitz Team, Leon left shortly after Bit came on board to
see the world. Very insightful and an excellent warrior Leon is
thoughtful and intelligent--and probably The most sane member of his
family. He was also the only one to see Bit and Liger Zero's potential in
the begining. He
piloted a Shield Liger but totaled it twice. While wandering the desert,
he met his ultimate partner: a Red Blade Liger. He is a very skilled
warrior, and is one of Bit's toughest rivals. Joins the Fluegel Team with
Naomi
|
 |
Naomi Fluegel
|
Naomi "The Red Comet" Fluegel is the
Leader of the Fluegel Team. Very skilled fighter, she pilots a highly
tuned and accurate Red Gun Sniper. She is no pushover, both on the
battlefield and in person. Joins with Leon and his Red Blade Liger. They
make a formidable team.
Has a thing for Brad
(duh).
|
 |
Oscar Hemeros
|
Oscar is Jamie's dad and long time friend of
Dr. Toros. Went to Zoid Academy with Dr. Toros and Dr. Leyon. He's
actually the reason for the whole feud between Dr. Toros and Dr. Leyon.
Piloted a Raynos until he crashed it, no sticks with an old Pteras (looks
like an older version Republican Pteras, and shows it age). |
 |
Dr. Leyon
|
Dr. Leyon is a brilliant scientist who
developed the Shadowfox, which was later stolen by Brad, and has developed
other impressive Zoid technologies. He was the one behind the
weather-manipulating weapons that had been equipped on the Tiger's Team's
Saber Tigers. Used to be good friends with Dr. Toros and Oscar, but now wants to wipe
Toros off the planet. Was independent but later
enlisted with the Backdraft Group. Pilots a modified Whale King. At
the end of the series, it looks as though the two guys duke it out almost
for fun.
|
 |
Stigma Stoller
and Sanders
|
Captain Stigma Stoller (left) was a high
ranking official in the Backdraft in charge of the Elephander Development
Program. After sparing Bit during an unofficial battle, Stoller left the
Backdraft to become a legitimate warrior. A very skilled, seasoned, and
respected pilot, once retired but came out after the Elephander lost to
Bit and the Jager.
Sanders (right) is Stoller's associate and has
piloted the Elephander once. Competent Zoid warrior who respects Stoller.
|
 |
Pierce
|
Once the Airborne Specialist of the
Backdraft.
But later quit do to conflicts with how the Backdraft fights. Fought the
Blitz Team on two occasions, once in a Zabat, and again in a Storm Sworder
F1.
Definitely has a thing
for Bit.

 |
Harry Champ
|
"My name is Harry Camp; I'm a man destined
to be King." That's Harry's favorite phrase. Leader of the Champ
Team, very spoiled and possess a lot of money. He has a hanger full of
almost every Zoid imaginable. Has a major thing for Leena and gets very
jealous of anyone that he thinks is trying to steal her. This is how he
became rivals with Bit. A descent warrior and has lots of money to pour
into modifying his Zoids. Pilots a Heavily Modified Dark Horn, an Iron
Kong, and has piloted a Cannon Tortoise. At one time had all kinds of
Zoids, from Shield Ligers to Gordos but after loosing to the Backdraft's
Gold Team, lost most of his Zoid collection. |
 |
|
Marry Champ
|
One of Harry's Robot comrades, has a thing for
one of the Judges. Very poetic and insightful, and a decent warrior.
Pilots a modified Stealth Viper and an Iron Kong PK type. |
 |
Benjamin
|
One of Harry's Robot comrades, has a thing for
one of the Judges. Very poetic and insightful, and a decent warrior.
Pilots a modified Stealth Viper and an Iron Kong PK type.
|
 |
Sebastian
|
(robot on the left) The other member of the Champ Team, is
marginally skilled, but too cocky. Is often known for stealing Harry's
lines. Pilots a modified Heldigunner, and an Iron Kong PK type
|
 |
Jack Sisco
|
Very skilled mercenary warrior who pilots a
Lightning Saix. Was once hired by the Champ Team, and lost his first
battle in that fight to bit and Jager. Later hired by the Lightning Team
and seems to like it. Has an ongoing rivalry with Bit Cloud. Confident,
but not too cocky, he knows and understands the limits of his Zoid and is
definitely a force to be reckoned with.
|
 |
Chis Tasker
|
Leader of the Lightning
Team. and Pilots a Lightning Saix. A very skilled pilot that knows how to control
her Zoid and can pull of tight formations with her sister and Jack, whom
they hired to be on their team. The only Team to have beaten the Blitz
Team in battle. |
 |
|

Kelly Tasker
|
Chris' sister, she also pilots a Lightning Saix
on the Lightning Team. Also a skilled warrior.
|
 |
Alteil
|
One of the Backdraft's top ranking operatives,
Alteil has encountered the Blitz Team on several occasions. Originally
aimed to steal the Liger Zero, but after being yelled at by the Comity of
Seven, decided to search for another Ultimate X. He is very proud, and
despises being mocked or having orders carried out. One day plans to take
over the Zoid battle Commission and to lead the Backdraft. After
realizing Sarah's intentions, he enlists the Fuma Team with 3 Geno Saurers
to destroy Vega and the Berserk Fury, but fails miserably, and is kicked
out by Sarah.
|
 |
Major Palta
|
Major Palta is Leader of the Gold Team and has
fought, and lost to, the Blitz Team several times. A good warrior, but a
bit to cocky and arrogant. Has piloted the Elephander, Rev Raptor, Saber
Tiger equipped with the Multiple Missile Diffusion System, and
Storm Sworder A1.
|
 |
Sarah
|
Sarah is a high-ranking Backdraft official who
oversaw the Berserk Fury project after taking it from Alteil. Very
ambitious, and scheming, conniving, willing to take risks, she knows how
to manipulate people to get what she wants. However has a strong
compassion for Vega, almost like a mother figure. |
 |
Vega Obscura
|
Vega is an extremely skill warrior, also known
as "The King." Possesses almost a sixth sense and is often able
to predict an enemies moves. He pilots the Ultimate X Berserk Fury, and is
basically a neutral character and will only listen to Sarah. All he really
cares about is fighting in good Zoid battles. He was undefeated until Bit
beat him in the Royal Cup.
As a person, he's a
good kid, who doesn't hold grudges and isn't a sore looser, even congratulated
Bit and asked him to battle again in the future. Now, tell me he
doesn't resemble Raven? Stick on that marking on his face and it's
almost like a clone if you just glanced at him, and his Zoid has tires
to the Geno Sauer/Breaker family. |
 |
Lineback, Kirkland, Omari
|
Tiger's Team pilots lead by Kirkland (center),
and his teammates Omari (right) and Lineback (left). They seemed pretty good until Bit and Liger took them out in
Bit's first battle. They pilot three yellow Zaber Fangs. Fairly skilled
pilots, but whose moves are very predictable, lost many battles for a
while after the Blitz Team beat them, but managed to become the top
ranking Class B team.
Originally the Tiger's Team, then Changed to the Zaber Fangs. They also
are known as the Fuzzy Pandas, and the Monkeys (thanks to Bit).
|
 |
Leena's Mother
|
We only see a flash of her once in the entire
show, but Leena's mom does have a lot to do with the conflict between Dr. Leyon and Dr.
Toros. |
